A fundraiser will be held for the Minot Rural Fire Department Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Ryan Honda of Minot.

The event, offering free coffee and donuts, is being held to raise money for additional structural gear and self-contained breathing apparatuses as well as to show appreciation for First Responders. Free-will donations will be accepted.

Emergency vehicles will be on display, and Minot Rural will conduct competitions and drills throughout the morning. The Minot Police Department will have live K-9 demonstrations, and there will be a First Responders donut eating contest.

Saturday’s event also will see the return of the Mugs and Hugs program for families, held in the service drive of Ryan Honda.
