The Minot High School-Central Campus Playmakers is presenting the play “Miss Holmes” by Christopher M. Walsh, through Saturday. Each performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Central Campus Theatre.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and military members, and $8 for all students in kindergarten through grade 12.

According to director Kevin Neuharth, the play is in the spirit of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes mysteries, with a modern twist. The main roles are played by young women. Like most whodunnits, it begins with a murder or two or three. Audiences must try to discern whether the culprit is a petty thief upping his game or the overzealous police detective or a good-for-nothing nephew trying to cash in. Then again, it could be all part of a great conspiracy controlled by the famous, yet elusive, Professor … or it could be none of the above. Directors are Neuharth and Aaron Michels.
