It required a bit of late-game heroics in the opener, but the Minot High baseball team secured a doubleheader sweep of Watford City on Tuesday, May 5. The Sentinels found themselves trailing by two runs entering the top of the sixth inning before rallying for a pair of runs in each of the final two frames to complete a 4-2 comeback victory in Game 1. Boys Golf: Magicians win St. Mary’s Invitational for sixth tournament title this season

After a difficult outing in Rolla its last time on the golf course, the Minot High boys golf team bounced back to capture the St. Mary’s Invitational at Hawktree Golf Club in Bismarck on Tuesday, May 5. The Magicians shot a collective 318 to win the event by four strokes over Williston. Tournament-host St. Mary’s finished third with a score of 329, followed by Minot North with a 331.
