The holidays are a great time to reconnect with our loved ones, and a great opportunity to make sure that our more vulnerable family members are safe from fraud and scams. As different types of scams come and go, one type remains constant: durable medical equipment, or DME, schemes. DME includes medical devices and supplies that are prescribed by a person’s doctor, can withstand repeated use, serve a medical purpose, and can be used in the home. Examples include braces, orthotics, and mobility aids such as walkers, canes, crutches, and wheelchairs. Scammers call people and offer ‘free’ braces, claiming that Medicare will fully cover these materials. ‘Minot’s Got Talent’

Trinity Homes is FINALLY looking for entertainers to come in to our facility to provide entertainment to our residents. We have had some changes at Trinity Homes and the most recent being No More Masks. It was a great day, the day the masks came off, and residents were finally able to see the staff’s faces. COVID positive cases are being handled, per regulations and recommendations from state and federal agencies. Coalition making plans for 25th annual Salute to Seniors

Hello Seniors. Minot Area Senior Coalition is busy planning the 25th annual Salute to Seniors for Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Minot Municipal Auditorium. There will be vendors, door prizes, special entertainment, hot lunch and dance. This is a great socializing event to meet seniors from around the area.
