peared to address concerns about

gested it be put on the 2020 ballot
so the citizens can vote on it. M
Trowbridge appeared asking about
the CP train siren at night, it is con-
sidered a train safety zone and is
sounded at night for that reason. G
Gorian appeared by phone asking if
there was anything the city could do
in regards to helping him with the
SID’s on his property. A committee
was formed to discuss any options.
D Jost, Chairperson of the Planning
Commission appeared asking of
there could be an ordinance for the
consolidation of multiple lots into
one. Kremer moved to have Samson
draft an ordinance for consolidating
lots and have Glines review when
complete, Walker second, motion
carried. ENGINEER’S REPORT; On
the Mouse River they will be remov-
ing the existing levy from Cherry
Street to the railroad tracks. Sewer
boring will begin on Ida Ave. Cherry
Street and pump station are to be
completed before the end of the
year. Circle Sanitation presented
their contract, Skees motioned to
sign the contract, Kremer second,
motion carried. Boppre Law Firm
presented their contract, Cannon
motioned to approve, Walker
second, motion carried. Police
Department received $74,829 for the
Cares Act Coronavirus relief. Skees
motioned to accept the first reading
as presented for the Larson/Cruise
preliminary plat, Cannon second,

meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. Other
members present; Sheila Lindbo,
Chad Mosser and Curt Olson. Also

tendent, Principal Darwin Routledge
and Business Manager Barb Magnu-

Business Manager’s Report – Mrs.

Audit completed. ESSER grant dol-
lars received. Pictures will be taken
on September 15th and 16th. Regis-
tration is due for the virtual state
school board convention.
Principal’s Report
Mr. Groninger: We have 6 home
school students and 13 distance
learning students currently. Maps
testing is completed, and the read-
ing coordinator is getting things go-
ing to work with the students
Mr. Routledge: We have 23 stu-
dents distance learning. Maps test-
ing for junior and senior high will be-
gin this week. Block schedule has
had some challenges with COVID
restrictions. Working on a true block
system for when we are out of CO-
VID.
Superintendent’s Report – Mr. Stan-
ley: Enrollment numbers are up 45
students compared to last year.
Construction project continues to
stay on schedule. Exterior cement
will be poured, windows and
sheetrock will start soon.
Finance Committee: Discussion
was had with recommendations to
the board.

7.2 2019-2020 Audit: Emil Schoen-
fisch, external auditor, reviewed the
audit siting no corrections or con-
cerns. Motion to accept the audit by
Olson, seconded by Mosser. Carried
unanimously.
7.3 Tuition Waivers/Open enroll-
ments: Motion to approve the tuition
waivers to Minot, reject the tuition
contract from Minot CTE class, ac-
cept tuition waivers to South Prairie
that were missed last month and re-
ject two tuition waivers to South
Prairie, by Lindbo, seconded by Ol-
son. Carried unanimously.
7.4 Staff Contracts: Mosser
motioned to accept the adjusted
staff contracts and extra-curricular
contracts for the fall activities,
seconded by Olson. Carried unani-
mously.
7.5 Approve District Financial:
Mosser motioned to approve the
amended financial statement and fi-
nal reading of the certificate of levy.
Seconded by Lindbo. Carried unani-
mously
7.6 Approve District Compliance Re-
port: Lindo motioned to approve the
compliance report that was signed
off by the principals, seconded by
