BISMARCK – A trio of Minot High School athletes garnered All-State honors on Thursday, as The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association announced their 2024 Division AA Boys and Girls Basketball All-State Team. All-State Basketball teams are voted on by members of the NDAPSSA.

Majette Leelee Bell was named to the 2024 NDAPSSA First-Team as a forward/guard.

She also is the current all-time scoring leader in Minot High girls’ basketball history, passing teammate Maggie Fricke, who set the record herself earlier in the season.

The six-foot, three-inch Bell had 78 offensive and 220 defensive rebounds while adding 63 assists, 21 steals and 34 blocked shots for the season.

The Majettes were 25-4 on the year and placed fourth at the 2023-24 NDHSAA Division AA Girls Basketball State Tournament with the help of Bell and Fricke, even though Fricke did not play at the state tournament due to an injury.

For the Magicians, Logan Conklin was named to the 2024 NDAPSSA Boys Basketball Second-Team as a forward.
