Robert Brewer/MDN MLSKB freshman standout pitcher Ginger Savelkoul, fresh off of her 16-strikeout performance in the sub-regional championship win on Tuesday, hurls a strike in an 8-3 victory over Heart River during the first round of the Class B West Regional Tournament on Monday. Later that afternoon, MLSKB won their semifinal matchup against Velva by a final score of 4-3 to advance to the regional championship.
