Over the course of a strong senior season, Rugby’s Jaden Hamilton commanded the Panthers to a Region 6 Tournament title. On Thursday night, Hamilton (20.3 PPG) earned a Class B All-State First Team selection.

The Region 6 Senior Athlete of the Year complemented his scoring prowess with 7.7 rebounds per game and 2.3 steals per game. Hamilton joined Hillsboro-Central Valley’s Carson Henningsgard (unanimous), Shiloh Christian’s Jaden Mitzel, Richland’s Cole Meyers and Carrington’s Seth Nelson on the First Team.

A deep Second Team included Bo Belquist (New Rockford-Sheyenne), Lucas Schumacher (Linton-HMB), Joe Hurlburt (Enderlin), Gage Swanson (Beach), Jesse White (White Shield), Doug Yankton (Four Winds-Minnewaukan), Trey Brandt (Beulah), Avery Thorsgard (Hatton-Northwood), Scott Wagner (Ellendale), Andy Freier (Kindred) and Rhett Hanson (Stanley).
