MHS boys golf takes second at home meet

The Minot High boys golf team narrowly missed winning its own invitational Monday.

Century won the invite with a team score of 309, while the Magi took second with a 313. Bismarck finished third with a 321 and Dickinson was fourth with a score of 342.

Century’s Jackson Ward won the individual medal after carding a 72, while Mandan’s Trey Hohbein placed second with a 74 and Minot’s Easton Evanoff and Century’s Logan Rush each took third with a 75. Minot’s Kessler Heilman finished ninth with a score of 89.

MHS is back in action at 4 p.m. Friday in a meet at Williston.
