Legislation would hasten school closures

Dean Meyer, Dickinson The Starkweather Stormkings. The Elgin Dutchmen. The Scranton Miners, Wishek Badgers, Milnor Bison. The Killdeer Cowboys. Whether it’s been declining population, lack of funding, or co-ops, the past 40 years have brought a lot of changes to our small town schools. And each time one of our schools has had to shut down or consolidate, we’ve lost a little bit of our history, our identity. Staggered delivery could be solution

Kevin P. Nelson Minot I find it interesting that the US Postal Department has trouble delivering the mail on a daily basis, especially to rural locations. I am one of the many who are affected by this. The cause is said to be the inability to hire enough people to do this job. However, I don’t remember the last time I received mail that was so critical that the delay had any effect. Most of my mail is now advertising or requests from charitable organizations for funds. Then, on the other side, a group of Christians in Minot pulls the rope to their side, as in Pastor Janet Mathistad’s letter, in which she clarified that the goal is not to argue with people who aren’t willing to change their mind, but to make sure LGBTQ people and those who love them know there is a place for them in this community. Disappointed in Cramer’s stance

Philip Weigel Minot Senator Cramer, you are wrong. This past week, Tucker Carlson started to release the footage of what really happened on January 6th, 2021. Most of what he has shown has directly rebuked the January 6th committee and showed everyone that what they said and showed us were nothing more than lies. Naturally, Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Mitch McConnel, the top Uniparty members of the Senate, denounced Tucker Carlson for letting the truth come out. Other members of the Uniparty, such as Mitt Romney, came out as well and said that it was bad. But Senator ...

Tessa Moon Leiseth Bishop, Eastern North Dakota Synod, ELCA Fargo God calls us to pray and care for all people, without exception. The Rev.
