Keith P Harding, age 73, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on January 19, 2026. Born on April 25, 1952, in Minot, North Dakota, he was the son of the late Wesley and Marlyse (Rolene) Pfeilschiefter.
Keith grew up in rural Velva, graduating from Velva High School in 1970. He pursued further education in Wahpeton and Boise, which launched a successful career in computer operations and communications. His professional journey took his family across the country, from Boise and Denver to Dallas, working for companies like Citibank and Coca-Cola. In 1990, the family returned to their roots in Velva, where his children graduated from the same high school as their parents. Keith resided in Velva until moving to Scottsdale in 2011.
Keith had a lifelong passion for baseball, football, music, and classic cars. However, nothing meant more to him than his family. He was known for never letting a conversation end with his children or grandchildren without a heartfelt \\\”I Love You.\\\” He was immensely proud of his family’s legacy of service, particularly that of his sons, Adam and Jerod, in the U.S. Army EOD.
Keith is survived by his son, Jerod (Kristine) Harding; his daughter, Rachel (Josh) Gebur; and his beloved grandchildren, Destiny, Thomas, and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carlotta Linrud; and his son, Staff Sergeant Adam Harding.
Keith will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at a future date to celebrate his life.
