Myrtle Johnson

Myrtle Adelia Johnson was born March 7, 1927 at home in rural Deering to Arthur W. Johnson and Mabel M (Latendresse) Johnson. She died at the age of 95 on Saturday December 3, 2022 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. Myrtle went to country school for 8 years. She graduated from Granville High School in 1945. Myrtle Married Samuel K Sampson on November 25, 1946. Myrtle is survived by her son, Jim of Seattle, WA; Daughters Doris Holen of Upham, Marilyn(Harvey) Sveund of Towner, Melinda(Robert) Hamel of Fargo; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Gloria; Granddaughters Marcia Holen and Danielle Radke. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 10, 2022 at The New Hope Lutheran Church in Upham. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson funeral home in Towner.
