Area initiatives receive federal funds
BISMARCK – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced an award of more than $12 million for initiatives across North Dakota, according to U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer.
The awards include:
– $4.56 million to Minot Public School District to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
– $3.77 million to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
– $3.67 million to the University of North Dakota to provide technical assistance, information and resources to improve healthcare in rural areas.
