Ruby Enger

Ruby Enger, 91, of

White Earth, North Dako-

ta passed away on Mon-

day, September 5, 2022 at

the Tioga Medical Center

in Tioga, North Dakota.

Ruby was born at home

in rural Mountrail Coun-

ty, and was raised in the

White Earth, North Dako-

ta area. She attended

country school and gra-

duated from White Earth

High School. Ruby mar-

ried Jerome Enger and to-

gether the couple lived

and enjoyed a life of farm-

ing in the beautiful White

Earth Valley. Ruby shared

66 great years with Jerome

before he passed away in

2019.

Ruby was a warm and

wonderful woman who

made people of all ages

feel welcome in her home.

She enjoyed treks to Mica

Hill and walking in the

hills around the farm.

Ruby always had caramel

rolls and brownies on the

counter, and cookies and

candy on the table. She

enjoyed the companion-

ship of her horses, dogs,

and cats throughout the

years.

Ruby would say she

lived in the best place

with the best people in

the world. She will be

greatly missed by her fam-

ily and friends.

Ruby’s family wishes to

thank her friends, neigh-

bors, and the staff at the

Tioga Medical Center for

their care and kindness in

her illness and passing.

Ruby’s Funeral Service

will be held at 1:00 PM on

Monday, September 12,

2022 at the First Lutheran

Church in White Earth,

North Dakota. Pastor Mike

Olson will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the

White Earth Cemetery in

White Earth, North Dako-

ta.
