Clarice Heart, 68,
Minot, formerly of New
Town, died Monday, De-

Martha Fox, in Minot’s
Trinity Hospital, on No-
vember 28, 1953; she was
raised by her grandma,
Annie Sitting Crow, and
later by her uncle, Ike
Fox. She attended grade
school in New Town and
at Sunnyside in Minot,
before transferring to
Wahpeton Indian School
and Flandreau Indian
School.
While at Flandreau, she
met the love of her life
Bentley Heart. Due to life
events, she moved to El
Monte, California with
her mother. She worked
for Ball Corp. which was a
job she truly enjoyed.
When she returned to
North Dakota, in 1985,
fate brought Bentley and
her back together. Their
union was made official
on February 14, 2013.
They started the 4 Bears
Meal site by fundraising.
They served every elder,
as well as Washington
dignitaries, brought
through by Chairman Ed-

wasn’t a special occasion.

and jewelry. She collected
funko pop figures and
horses. She had a love of
thrifting, flea markets, and
craft shopping. She en-
joyed going to the casinos
and playing word
searches and jigsaw puz-
zles on her iPad. She even
hosted family prize bingo
nights.
She treasured her fami-
ly and loved having
phone calls and visits
with her baby sister Anna
White. She also enjoyed
having lunches and visits
with her sister Toni Starr.
She especially cherished
her role as grandma and
great-grandma. She was
always munching on ice.
All animals knew her
kindness, seeming to be
drawn to her immediate-
ly. Her favorite tv shows
were Ice Road Truckers,
Property Brothers, and
Fixer Upper. She also en-
joyed Lifetime movies,
Hallmark Christmas
movies, animated movies;
