heaven, Thursday, Sep-

tember 3, 2020.

Ricky Allen Nogosek

was born on May 19,

1973, to Richard and Peg-

gy (Coffey) Nogosek in

Minot, ND. He was raised

in Des Lacs, ND and edu-

cated within Minot Public

Schools. He graduated

from Minot High 1994.

Ricky was employed at

various places throughout

his lifetime, including

Minot Vocational

Workshop, The Restore,

Kalix, Trinity Laundry,

Marketplace Foods, the

cafeteria at Minot Air

Force Base and most re-

cently at the Grand Hotel.

With the support of

some very special people

at RSI, Ricky was able to

enjoy his bachelorhood

and live in Minot the last

few years.

Ricky loved talking

with friends. If you knew

him for years or met him

once, he remembered you

and you were his

“Buddy.” He will be great-

ly missed by all of the

friends in the communi-

ties of Des Lacs and Bur-

lington and his extended

family at RSI.

Ricky was an avid

listener of all types of

music, he played the

drums, loved trucks, Har-

leys, Mountain Dew, DL-B

football games and cruis-

ing the streets of Des Lacs

and loved spending time

with family.

He was a member of

United Methodist Church

and the Knights of

Columbus.

Ricky’s family in-

cludes: mother Peggy,

brothers Rodney Nogosek,

Randy (Kathleen) No-

gosek, sisters Katherine

Nogosek (Harald Kohlh-

off) and Kristy (Scottie)

Hamel. An aunt, uncle

and numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins also

survive.

Ricky was preceded in

death by: his father,

Richard, and sister Kelly

Nogosek Sharpe, maternal

and paternal grandparents

and many beloved aunts

and uncles.

Thank you all for the

love and friendship and

memories you had with

Ricky.

no reviewal, however

friends may sign a guest

book on Wednesday Sep-

tember 9, 2020 from 2 un-

til 4 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot.

Memorial Service: due

to current social restric-

tions, a private family

memorial service will take

place at 1 p.m. Wednes-

day at Thompson-Larson

Funeral Home Chapel.

The service will be

livestreamed for the pub-

lic to view and may be ac-
