Sheila Harris, 74, Des

Lacs, ND, passed away on

Sunday, August 2, 2020 in

her home.

Sheila Renee Harris was

born March 24, 1946, the

daughter of Max and Gla-

dys Harris, in Minot, ND.

She was raised and edu-

cated in Des Lacs, ND.

She graduated from Des

Lacs High School in 1964.

She furthered her educa-

tion by attending the

North Dakota State Col-

lege of Science in Wahpe-

ton, ND.

Sheila married Doug

Stevick in 1972. She be-

came a mother to his two

daughters, Deborah and

Terri. They also had a

daughter, LeNaye. They

made their home in Ger-

many and in Des Lacs.

They were later divorced.

Sheila worked in the

dietary department at

Trinity Hospital. She had

also worked in the bakery

at a local grocery store,

Terhorst Manufacturing,

Post Office, Hickory

Farms and finally retiring

from Cognizant.

She was a member of

the Des Lacs Community

Club, Laker Playmakers

and Des Lacs United

Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing

cards, scrap booking, hav-

ing coffee with neighbors,

reminiscing of her time in

Germany, attending her

daughter’s events and

games and her most

memorable times were

those spent with her

grandchildren.

Her surviving family

includes: daughters,

LeNaye Stevick (Justin

Hanson), Des Lacs, ND,

Terri (Justin) Lochthowe,

Minot, and Deborah Laz-

zaretti, St. Louis, MO;

grandchildren, Tanner

Nett (Natalie Bertsch),

Minot, ND, Stevie and

Kali Nett, rural Des Lacs,

Makenna Nett, Minot,

Dusty (Kelley) Vigstol,

Colorado Springs, CO;

McKenzie Vigstol (Thayne

Rath), Minot, ND, Fiona,

Eliza, and Victor Lazzaret-ti, Chesterfield, MO;

brothers, Jerry Harris,

Prescott, AZ, Bill

(Rosanne) Harris, and Don

(Cathy) Harris, Sanford,

NC; sister-in-law, Jeanne

Harris, New Town, ND;

Tripper Harris (her cocker

spaniel, BFF and loyal

companion); and

numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.

Sheila was preceded in

death by: her parents; sis-

ter, Maxine Harris; broth-

ers, Bob and Terry Harris;

and her grandparents, Ida

and Theodore Ronglien;

and her beloved cocker

spaniel, Cassie.

Pandemic, a Private Fam-

ily Funeral by invitation

will be held Saturday, Au-

gust 8, 2020, at 2:00 pm at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home Chapel in

Minot.

A Public Graveside

Service will be held on

Saturday, August 8, 2020,

at 3:00 p.m. at Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot,

ND. Please observe social

distancing.

Visitation: There will be

no reviewal but friends

may sign the register book

on Friday, August 7, 2020,

from 4 to 6 pm at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot.

Memorials: In lieu of

flowers, memorials are

preferred to St. Jude’s

Children’s Hospital, Spe-

cial Olympics or the

Souris Valley Animal

Shelter.
