July 31 at a construction
site near Balta, ND.
Funeral services will be
held at the St. Cecilia
Catholic Church of Har-
vey on Saturday August 4,
2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation will be held
at the church on Friday
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m. Prayers services
will be on Friday at 7:00
p.m. at the church.
Troy was born March
22, 1956 in Harvey. He
was the son of Darwin
(Bud) and Marlys (Miller)
Schimke. Troy grew up
and attended school in
Harvey and graduated
from Harvey High School
in 1974. He then attended
UND in Grand Forks. He
started working for Susag
Sand and Gravel of Har-
vey in 1978 and worked
there until the present
time. He married Lori Gol-
dade on September 17,
1988 in Harvey. They
lived in Harvey.
Troy enjoyed hunting,
fishing, watching sports
especially when his son
Trevor was playing. His
favorite team was the
Sioux Hockey team. He
loved spending time with
family and friends. Troy
also enjoyed working for
his Susag Sand and Grav-
el family for over 40
years. Troy was a member
of the Wells Eagles Aerie
#3080 of Harvey, ND.
Troy is survived by his
wife, Lori of Harvey; son,
Trevor of Harvey; mother,
Marlys of Bismarck;
brothers, Todd (Nyla)
Schimke, Bismarck,
Timm (Sue) Schimke,
Bend, Oregon; sister, Lori
(Clay) Nagel, Frazee, MN;
mother-in-law, Agnes Gol-
dade, Harvey; brothers-
in-law, Gary (Marilyn)
Goldade, Rugby, Cary
(Cheryl) Goldade,
Bismarck; sisters-in-law,
Cindy (Mark) Miller, Lin-
coln, Brenda (Jamey)
Weinmann, Selz; several
nieces and nephews;
several aunts and uncles.
Troy was preceded in
death by his father,
Darwin (Bud); father-in-
law, Peter Goldade; broth-
er-in-law, Kevin Goldade;
sister-in-law, Robin (Bob-
