Betty L. (Moore) Kvamme

Kvamme, age 84, of

Minot, North Dakota and

Winter Haven, Florida

passed away peacefully of

natural causes at the Good

Shepherd Hospice Home

in Auburndale, Florida on

Sunday, July 7, 2018. Bet-

ty was born on August 28,

1933 to John and Emma

Moore in Turtle Lake, ND.

She graduated from Turtle

Lake High School. By

teaching during the

school year and attending

summer sessions and tak-

ing extension courses she

received her Bachelor of

Science and then a Master

degree. She married Le-

land Kvamme on October

26, 1953 and together they

raised their family on the

homestead farm near

Butte, ND. Betty enjoyed

many hobbies including

antiques, painting and

jewelry making.

She was preceded in

death by her parents, her

brothers Herb, Phil, Ken-

ny & Gerald, her sisters

Fern, Lucille, Jean and

Jeanette and her son Alan

Kvamme.

She is survived by her

brother Glen Moore,

daughter Terri Kvamme,

grandson, Dillon

Kvamme, her grand-

daughter Melissa Smith,

and great-grandchildren:

Caleb, Lola, Kingston,

Charley and many nieces

and nephews.
