Judy Fetzer

Judy Ann Fetzer, 78, Surrey, passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday, Dec. 1, 2014.

Judy was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Minot, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Frye) Stebleton. She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1954.

Judy went to work in the accounts payable department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Minot, in 1954. Judy was united in marriage to Erwin John Fetzer Sept. 25, 1955, in Minot. The couple made their home in Surrey and had two children, Kevin and Kari. Judy retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1998.

She loved working in and around her home in Surrey and spending time with her grandson. She enjoyed camping and was an avid country western music fan.

Judy is survived by: her son, Kevin; daughter, Kari (Rob) Hill and grandson, Cole Hill, all of Surrey; brothers, Darrell (Judy) Stebleton, Minot, Larry Stebleton, Minot, Warren Stebleton, Surrey, Arnie (Ida) Stebleton, Bismarck and Jeffrey (Lori) Stebleton, Minot; sisters, Maxine Henderson, Minot, Lois (Dale) Falb, Warren, Ohio, and Shelli Stebleton, of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, George and Dorothy; and sisters, Janice Jacobson and Eleanor Ehlke.

Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 5, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
