Health resource center to hold grand opening

NEW TOWN – The Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) in New Town will hold a grand opening Thursday, June 4. According to CHRC information, the grand opening will be from 1-3 p.m. at 1293 Elbowoods Loop. The center was built to house a myriad of programs for children, adults, elders and families in a more centralized location. New Town man dies in two-vehicle crash

PALERMO – A 22-year-old New Town man died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2, about 5 miles east of Palermo Monday, June 1. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 12:07 a.m., a 2008 GMC Sierra, driven by the New Town man, was traveling south on 67th Avenue Northwest. A 2020 Ford Expedition, driven by a 59-year-old Minot woman, was traveling east on Highway 2.
