FORT BERTHOLD - Two people were pronounced deceased and a third transported to Minot for medical treatment following a shooting Friday, Sept. 25, on the Fort Berthold Reservation, according to the Three Affiliated Tribes Law Enforcement Services.
Law enforcement responded to the medical call involving three individuals were were shot at about 9:56 p.m.
Four suspects were identified and apprehended with the assistance of the tribal agency's law enforcement partners from the Mountrail County Sheriff's Office, McKenzie County Sheriff's Office, New Town City Police Department, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), MHA Drug Enforcement, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Joint Special Operations Team in partnership with the McLean County Sheriff's Office, four identified suspects have been apprehended.
The FBI is the primary investigative agency for this incident, with assistance from other area law enforcement partners.
