ND voters approve ‘single subject’ rule
Ballot measures proposing to change North Dakota’s constitution will be limited to a single subject in the future. North Dakota voters approved a constitutional measure proposed by the Legislature to confine constitutional measures, whether offered up by the Legislative or initiated by citizens, to one subject. The measure was supported by 66.4% of voters. The unofficial tally was 77,072-38,955.
