Ryder to celebrate 120th birthday June 19-20

RYDER – The community of Ryder will be celebrating its 120th birthday on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20. Two days of class reunions and other gatherings and events plus food and music are being planned. Activities open on Friday at 4 p.m. with a welcome and class reunions in the Community Center, followed by a catered dinner from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door but those attending are asked to RSVP to ryderturns120@gmail.com to assist planners. A Minot woman who pleaded guilty to delivering controlled substances to a juvenile within 300 feet of a public park has been granted a deferred imposition of sentence. Brynn Elizabetha Swanson, 20, entered her plea in March, pleading guilty to two Class B felony counts of delivery of a schedule II stimulant and one Class A felony count of delivery of a controlled substance I or II within 300 feet of a public park.
