Investigation continues into fair stabbing incident

A suspect has been located in connection with a stabbing incident at the North Dakota State Fair on Saturday, July 25, according to the Ward County Sheriff’s Department. The department reported no arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is continuing. The incident happened about 4:30 p.m. near the Flickertail on the fairgrounds. The individual stabbed was transported to receive medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff's department initially had sought the suspect, who had left the fairgrounds after the incident.

Pedestrian struck during two-vehicle crash

A pedestrian was struck when two-vehicles crashed at the intersection of 11th Avenue Southwest and First Street Southwest Monday, July 27. According to the Minot Police Department, at about 5:14 p.m., patrol officers responded to the crash at the intersection. The preliminary investigation determined the driver of a 2016 Toyota Highlander was exiting a bank parking lot and failed to yield to a 2023 Toyota Corolla traveling eastbound on 11th Avenue Southwest. City responds to water main break

City of Minot crews repaired a water main break in the 900 block of 21st Street Northwest on Tuesday, July 28. The break temporarily interrupted water service to 12 homes.
