State offers electronic records grants to rural health facilities

BISMARCK — North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is launching a new funding opportunity to help rural health care providers strengthen and modernize electronic medical record systems to better address the medical and behavioral health needs of North Dakotans and improve outcomes for the individuals they serve. Road to close briefly for parade

VELVA – The North Dakota Department of Transportation will assist local authorities in closing a stretch of N.D. Highway 41 through the city limits of Velva on Saturday, July 4, for the parade that day. The closure will be in place from 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday. There will be no marked detour. Motorists are advised to choose a different route if they need to travel through Velva during that time.

MDU files electric rate request in ND

BISMARCK — Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. announced it has filed an application with the North Dakota Public Service Commission seeking authority to increase electric rates in North Dakota by $34.5 million or 14.5% overall.
