WILLISTON - Visit the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston for Timeless Traditions: Punched Tin Lanterns on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 2-3 p.m. The free program is open to ages 8 and older.
Made by carefully punching patterns into thin sheets of tin, these lanterns allowed candlelight to shine through the openings while creating beautiful patterns of light. Learn more about lighting challenges on the frontier, then create a punched tin lantern to take home.
