Trinity Health’s Senior Safari Set for Sept 1

Minot-area seniors are welcome to enjoy a free day at the zoo as Trinity Health, the Minot Commission on Aging and Roosevelt Park Zoo host Senior Safari on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Roosevelt Park Zoo. In addition to free zoo admission for those 60 years of age and older, the Minot Commission on Aging will serve a $5 box lunch. To reserve a meal, please call 852-0561 by Aug. 28. ND natural gas production sets new record

BISMARCK – North Dakota’s natural gas production set a new record in June. Nathan Anderson, director of the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, said natural gas production came in at 3.58 billion cubic feet (BCF) per day and May was 3.52 BCF per day, a 1.59% increase from May. Five injured in one-vehicle crash

SHEYENNE - The driver and four passengers were injured in a one-vehicle crash near Sheyenne Sunday, Aug. 23. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at about 1:51 a.m., a 2007 GMC Yukon was traveling west on 29th Street Northeast, east of Sheyenne, and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the roadway, over corrected and ran off the roadway and entered a ditch. The driver, a 26-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to a Carrington hospital with minor injuries.
