Epping resident dies in two-vehicle crash

WILLISTON — An 18-year-old male from Epping died in a two-vehicle crash on 124th Avenue Northwest near 53rd Street Northwest in the Williston-Epping area Saturday, May 2.

At 4:48 p.m., a 2004 Dodge Dakota, driven by the Epping resident, was traveling south on 124th Avenue Northwest, cresting a hill on the wrong side of the road at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a 2023 Ford F-150, driven by a 42-year-old man from Williston, was traveling north. The vehicles struck head-on.

The driver of the Dodge died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Dodge was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Ford was wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
