The City of Minot reported crews responded to two water main breaks in northwest Minot Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14 and 15.

The city closed 16th Street Northwest to vehicle traffic between Second Avenue Northwest and West Central Avenue while making repairs in the 100 block of 16th Street Northwest, just west of Oak Park. About 12 homes were affected by the line break.

A second line break occurred in the 1800 block of Second Avenue Northwest, affecting about six homes, according to the city.

Repairs continued through Wednesday.
