RAY — Acro Stars Gymnastics has received a $35,000 donation from Chevron to purchase a new floor for its gym, according to the organization.
The new floor was installed this fall and is intended to provide a safer training surface for athletes, said Tanya Hill, president and head coach of Acro Stars Gymnastics.
“For our athletes, the floor is where they spend countless hours training, chasing big dreams and supporting each other,” Hill said. “Knowing they have a safe, reliable space to practice means a great deal to everyone in our gym.”
Parents and athletes have also welcomed the upgrade. Parent Angel Kilber said the new floor gives children a safer environment to learn and build confidence.
“It’s more than just equipment — it’s an investment in their health, their skills and their future,” Kilber said.
Chevron Regional Director Michael Bast said the company is proud to support Acro Stars Gymnastics and young athletes in Ray.
“This new floor offers a safe and reliable space for kids to train, build confidence and achieve their goals,” Bast said.
Acro Stars Gymnastics is a nonprofit organization based in Ray and serves athletes from Ray, Tioga, Wildrose, Powers Lake, Stanley and Williston.
