GRAND FORKS — SCORE Grand Forks and West Central ND announced it has received the SCORE Chapter of the Year Award for outstanding performance in 2026 in District 508.

The award recognizes SCORE Grand Forks and West Central ND for exceptional growth in the services provided to local entrepreneurs, the success of its public outreach and excellent client satisfaction.

SCORE Grand Forks and West Central ND has been a part of the local small business community for more than 50 years. In 2025, the chapter’s volunteers provided free mentoring in 686 sessions and 547 low-cost workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.

“We are honored to receive recognition from SCORE District 508,” said SCORE Grand Forks and West Central ND Chapter Leader Sheila Bruhn in the announcement. “Our 30 volunteers have a passion for business, and they are committed to the success of Grand Forks and West Central ND small businesses.”

The chapter also was recognized for its fundraising success during the 2026 fiscal year.
