BISMARCK — Northwest Landowners Association (NWLA) will host the 2026 Emerging Industries Conference on Feb. 2-3 in Bismarck.

The educational conference will take place in the Bavendick Stateroom at the Bismarck State College National Energy Center of Excellence, 1200 Schafer Street. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Feb. 2.

This two-day event is designed to help landowners, local and state officials, and members of the public better understand emerging industries impacting North Dakota, ask informed questions and engage directly with knowledgeable speakers.

Conference topics will include:

– Critical minerals and rare earth elements

– Energy needs, production, and transmission

– New developments such as data centers and cryptomining

– Pore space development

– Legal considerations and presentations

– Lithium extraction/mining
