The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s North Dakota Chapter will host a Survivors of Suicide Loss event Saturday, Nov. 22, from 1-3 p.m. in the Carnegie Center, 105 2nd Ave. SE, Minot.

Each year, AFSP supports hundreds of large and small Survivor Day events across the globe, in which suicide loss survivors come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. While each event is unique and offers various programming, all feature an AFSP-produced documentary that offers a message of growth, resilience and connection.

The Minot event is free to attend for survivors of suicide loss and their support person and is appropriate for those ages 16 years and older. There will be food, support and fellowship.
