One person dies after Williams County crash
A 37-year-old Williston man died from injuries sustained when the SUV he was driving crashed on U.S. Highway 2 in Williams County Sunday, Nov. 16.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 7:04 a.m., the man, driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, was traveling west on Highway 2 when the vehicle entered the median and overcorrected, then continued into the north ditch where the vehicle rolled. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Highway Patrol. At the time of the crash there was fog.
The driver was transported by Ray Ambulance to a Williston hospital where he died.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
