Grant to bring music series to Minot’s Citizen Alley
Local Motives has announced it has been awarded a multi-year grant of $120,000 in matching funds to present a free outdoor music series at Citizens Alley in downtown Minot in each of the next three years.
Funded by the Levitt Foundation, a national social impact funder, Levitt Music Series Grants bring the joy of free, live music to towns and cities across the country. Each Levitt Music Series location presents 7-10 free outdoor concerts per year, injecting new life into underused public spaces and creating welcoming community destinations, according to information from Local Motives.
