Minot participants gather along South Broadway Saturday, Oct. 18, joining an estimated 7 million Americans in more than 2,700 cities during the No Kings Day of Peaceful Action. Local rally participation was estimated at about 300 people. The national estimate was 2 million more than a similar June event, according to national event sponsors, who called it a nonviolent defiance of authoritarianism occurring under President Donald Trump’s administration. All No Kings events were organized in coordination with local grassroots partners.
