Trinity Health will host a kickoff event for its Healthcare Exploring Program on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Minot Area Workforce Academy, 2100 21st Ave. NW. The program will continue with monthly sessions at Trinity Health.

The Healthcare Exploring Program is open to students in grades 9 through 12 who are interested in healthcare careers and want to learn about medical professions. Participants will explore various fields of healthcare through hands-on activities and visits with professionals.

Students must complete a membership application and attend an orientation to take part in observation or job-shadowing opportunities. Applications will be available at the kickoff event, and participation is free. A parent or guardian must attend the kickoff.
