by Roger Riveland A 1912 25-85 HP Nichols and Shepard side mount steam tractor drives the parade route during the 56th Annual Divide County Threshing Bee in Crosby. The bee, held July 18-20, was well attended with parade entries from other states and Canada. Besides the main parade each day, the event included an antique flea market, music by Chokecherry Jam on Friday and by The Jensen Sisters on Saturday. Other events included a large farm toy show, bingo, car show, stationary engine displays, rye grain threshing, plowing and working saw mill demonstrations. A church service was held at the old Daneville church Sunday morning on site at the Pioneer Village, where many other historical buildings from around the area now reside. New this year was an opportunity to ride or drive a tractor.
