WILLISTON – A 3-year-old boy was injured when struck by a vehicle in Williston Friday, Aug. 8.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 6:38 p.m., a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Jeremy Brooks, 33, Williston, was turning into a residential driveway in Williston when the vehicle struck the boy.

The boy was transported to a Williston medical facility and later flown to Fargo for further treatment.

The name of the driver has not been released at this time. The boy’s name will not be released.

The crash remains under investigation by the N.D. Highway Patrol.
