Devils Lake man injured in motorcycle crash
DEVILS LAKE – A 48-year-old Devils Lake man was injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday, Aug. 5.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Timothy Trottier Jr. was traveling southbound on Elks Drive, about one-quarter mile from the junction with U.S. Highway 2 near Devils Lake. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. The driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported by ambulance to a Devils Lake hospital and later transferred to a Grand Forks hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the N.D. Highway Patrol.
