Chess Club returns to Minot Public Library
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 2, Chess Club will return to Minot Public Library.
Chess Club will meet the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6-7:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in playing chess or practicing new strategies against new opponents is welcome to participate. Regular attendees include people of all skill levels, from those just learning how to play to nationally rated players. If you know how to move the pieces, you are welcome to attend, according to library information.
The club is open to ages 7 and older. Children age 8 and younger must have a guardian present for the duration of the program.
The club is organized and run by Daryl Rothchild and library staff members. Chess Club is free to attend thanks to donations from the Friends of the Minot Public Library.
