Town hall meeting scheduled for Sentinel Program

The U.S. Air Force will hold a town hall meeting about the Sentinel Program Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Minot State University’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

The intent of the meeting is to provide landowners and community members information on the Sentinel Program, according to Minot Air Force Base information.

During the meeting, Air Force officials will provide an overview of the Sentinel Program and its projected impact on the communities in the vicinity of Minot AFB and offer a 30-minute question-and-answer session to answer questions community members have about the program.

The Air Force is modernizing existing Minuteman III systems, including missile silos, control centers and other ground infrastructure at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming; Malmstrom AFB, Montana; and Minot AFB.
