Three elected in Bottineau school election
BOTTINEAU – Meghan Kjelshus, Shawn Shultz and Katie Tofteland were the top vote-getters in Tuesday’s election to fill three seats on the Bottineau School Board. Results are unofficial until canvassed at the June 23 school board meeting.
Terms are three years.
There were 93 votes cast in the election. Kjelshus received 90 votes; Tofteland, 87 votes; Shultz, 80 votes; and Heather Thompson, 18 votes. Shultz and Toteland are incumbents.
The measure to publish minutes in the official newspaper also was approved 84-8.
