Independence Inc. is throwing a celebratory picnic Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the organization’s headquarters at 315 3rd Ave. SW, Minot.

The event is open to the public and will have free hot dogs and hamburgers, fun music, games and more.

Friends, family and community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about Independence Inc and get-to-know each other.

Independence Inc. is a nonprofit organization to empower individuals with disabilities, seniors and people with behavioral health disorders to live independently through the removal of all barriers. The organization provides individuals with the training, life skills, tools and resources needed to overcome said barriers and achieve goals and dreams.
