Dem-NPL endorses Lamb for state auditor
FARGO – The North Dakota Democratic-NPL has endorsed Grand Forks attorney Tim Lamb for state auditor.
“In a one-party state where all levels of government from the legislature to the governor, to all state offices, are under control of one party, the duties of the state auditor become essential to maintaining honest and transparent governance,” Lamb said.
As the 2022 attorney general candidate, Lamb was one of the first people to call for an independent special prosecutor to investigate Wayne Stenejhem’s deleted emails.
Lamb is a 20-year Army veteran and retired major. He left active-duty service to attend the UND Law School.
“He’s an experienced leader” Sen. Tim Mathern, D-Fargo, who nominated Lamb, said. “He’s tried hundreds of cases with the motto, ‘Helping people solve their problems.'”
