Virtual series to focus on diversity
Prevent Child Abuse North Dakota and Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center are hosting a virtual series, “Cultural Humility,” to bring more awareness to the changing diversity of Minot.
The online seminars are free to attend. They will take place on Feb. 8, March 13, March 27 and April 10 from noon-2 p.m. Register with Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center.
Each seminar will cover a different topic, including new Americans and cultural awareness, acknowledging history and honoring traditions, engagement within indigenous communities, supporting families with limited English proficiency and implicit bias.
