Vehicle crashes into Williston residence

WILLISTON – The Williston Fire Department was dispatched with the Williston
Police Department for a report on Tuesday of a vehicle that had crashed into a residential structure.
First responders arrived on the scene and discovered a single SUV left the road and struck the corner of a residential townhouse. There were two occupants in the vehicle who were able to self-extricate and were uninjured. There were no occupants in the residence at the time of the incident. Williston Fire Department crews remained on the scene while the vehicle was removed from the structure.
There was damage to load-bearing structural members of the townhouse. Firefighters constructed shoring to stabilize the structure until repairs could be made by the property owner.
