Close to 20 patients were evacuated from Trinity Hospital St. Joseph’s Saturday evening after a pipe burst, causing water to stream into the facility.

Mary Muhlbradt, a spokeswoman for Trinity Health, said a total of nine patients in Rehabcare and 10 from the inpatient Behavioral Health unit were removed from the building. All were relocated to Trinity Hospital at the Healthcare Campus and Medical District.

She said Trinity Health is working with local officials to assess the damage and determine the best plan for patients going forward.

On Sunday, CleanTech was checking every aspect of the building, Muhlbradt said.
