Michael Jrom Breitmeyer, 22, New Town, is charged in district court in Mountrail County with Class C felony simple assault on a peace officer or correctional officer, Class C felony bribery, Class A misdemeanor preventing arrest, Class A misdemeanor menacing, Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, a first offense; Class B misdemeanor driving with a suspended driver’s license, and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct-fighting behavior on Saturday.

He made an initial appearance on the charges on Monday before Judge Doug Mattson. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for March 24 in district court in Stanley before Judge Gary Lee.
